Mariko Toey, born in 1997 in Thailand, is the creator of the beloved Lonely Girls character. She is always on the lookout for new and enjoyable experiences, and draws inspiration from her favourite artist, Edward Hopper. Mariko's passion for art has led her to study the biographies and works of many world-renowned artists, and she aspires to join their ranks.

Mariko is skilled in creating images of girls in different environments within her artwork, and the box-shaped cartoon style is her signature. Mariko enjoys seeing things transformed into box-shape figures, and the box-shaped characters are her way of expressing adventure in this magical world. The unique character designs, combined with bright and vivid childlike illustrations, are eye-catching and evoke a sense of innocence and playfulness that resonate with many collectors. Mariko's artworks have also captured the hearts of many and are well-loved by the public.
