Touch Gallery is pleased to present 'Out of the Box', a solo exhibition of new works by Japanese famous artist Yuki Matsueda, from 17 July to 3 August. Mr Matsueda has held solo exhibitions in Seoul, Berlin and Tokyo, and participated in group shows and art fairs in Miami, Shanghai, Beijing, Los Angeles, Kyoto and Paris. This exhibition features 15 works selected from his latest series that showcase his unique style - breaking the norms of everyday life through his art. 

 

Yuki Matsueda was born in Ibaraki, Japan, he received his PhD in design from Tokyo University of the Arts at the age of 30, and won the Nippon Paint Design Centre Award in the same year. Growing up as the son of print factory owners, he tries to overcome the limitations of printing and products, and liberates those ordinary objects from boredom to create humorous and interesting works in three-dimensional.
