Hector Chan
Born in Hong Kong in 1991, Hector Chan Wai-Kit he finished his MA in Fine Arts in University of Arts London – Chelsea College of Arts in 2018, graduated from BA in Visual Arts, Hong Kong Baptist University in 2015; and studied in Fine Arts Academy of Bologna during study exchange in 2014.
Chan has been curating and participating in exhibitions of Hong Kong and London, some of his artworks are privately collected. Chan also works for art and cultural education, and has been a special lecturer in Chelsea College of Arts. He is currently living and working in Hong KongChan’s practice explores how the creative process of pictures, paintings and drawings could capture the fluency, rapidness and quantity of dynamic images, and hence catch up and assemble the desire of seeing and memory.
Dynamic of gesture smoothens and extends the ways of seeing, it strikes into the eyes and summons the torrent of images in mind instantly, which brings an image more than an image. Sometimes it penetrates time at a moment, summoning the next moment of the movement; and sometimes it penetrates the memory, connecting similar scenes together. Dynamic is a fluent extendibility for images which summons our desire to see across the present image. Furthermore, it is not only an extended desire, but also a symptom of desire itself for the rapidness and quantity of seeing in the image-flooding era.
For Chan, painting is an action responding to the desire of seeing. He sometimes condenses painting’s content to extend the capacity of painting body and catch up the quantity of images; sometimes construct the range of association by collective words and drawings; sometimes he disperses complexity into multiple paintings and drawings to improve fluency of painting process and catch up the freshness of desire.

Silvester Mok
Silvester Mok is a Hong Kong ceramics artist who mainly works with 3D printed ceramics. After graduating from RMIT University in 2021, Mok has participated in HKAS/RMIT Graduates Exhibition and 17th Fresh Trend Art Graduates Joint Exhibition, and was awarded the Fresh Trend Art Award. Later that year, Mok had his first two solo exhibitions “Moiré” and “Coherence” that marked the start of his art career.
To Silvester, compared to pot pinching, machines have dominated the ceramics forming process in 3D printing. Clay was forced to squeeze out from the nozzle at precise coordinates, creating clay objects in a digital way. The precision and accuracy of the machine make a huge contrast with clay, a material that easily deforms under unbalanced weight and water content.
To explore the possibilities of digital ceramics, Mok engages and reconstructs visuals that he sees, with geometric forms that resemble the essences of those images. Visuals are reduced to simpler forms and colours, and the state gets captured permanently by fire. Each creature consists of individual parts that serve unique functions, in the composition of a harmonic arrangement, while being able to maintain their singularity and diverge through their contrasting characteristics. Each of his creations consists of individual parts that serve unique functions, in the composition of a harmonic arrangement, while being able to maintain their singularity and diverge through their contrasting characteristics.

Ho Sin Tung
Ho Sin Tung was born and currently living in Hong Kong. She graduated from the Fine Arts Department in Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2018. Ho imagines and participates in the world through researching it. She regards research as a method to lost oneself steadily. Navigating through the texts and materials, Ho encounters punctum that haunts her. Those could not be named thus transformed into works. This is a way to live with it. Ho has a penfriend who describes her as such: "Ho Sin Tung regards the dead as the living. Objects, events, knowledge gain the status of the living in her world. They have their own face and so dignified that they cannot be categorized."
Apart from drawing, installation and video, Ho also regards writing as one of her essential practice. Her translations, reviews and fictions are published in various medias and literal magazines. She is one of the co-founder of alternative space POWWOW - it is a base for cultural practitioners from all fields to exercise, play, mingle, and learn to care for both their body and mind. It seeks to bring various artistic communities together through sports (especially martial arts) and fun, and to become an agglomerating point for creative spirits to collide in informal yet structured frameworks. Without emphasising on the production or exhibition aspects of art, it will be a playground for creativity to ferment and take shape without being driven by ‘objectives’ or directed by the capitalistic impulses of productivity and efficiency.
